Common Core Assessment Tests

This site discusses the development of the CCSS (Common Core State Standards) Assessment Tests. Tests are developed through the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers. This is a group of states working together to form guidelines to test K-12 students to make sure students are on track under the CCSS. CCSS are designed with the intention of ensuring students are ready for college or a career upon graduating from high school. Grade level assessments are designed to show the progress students are making toward being ready for college and careers. It specifies what progress should be made each year and gives guidelines to teachers for helping students who may be falling behind.
