I am an author, researcher and mom. My first book, The ABCs of Being Mom – The Early Years – Birth – Kindergarten, will be published by She Writes Press in April, 2021. Two other books will follow, covering The Grade School Years and The High School Years to complete my series of guide books, covering the full-nest years of motherhood.

I launched this website to offer resources and my blog for moms. I want mothers to enjoy motherhood and to avoid as much as possible the feelings of being clueless, overwhelmed and worried. My books offers encouragement, practical knowledge, organization tools, inspiration and resources to help mothers manage.

Over the last 20+ years, I have traveled the road of motherhood, learned, struggled, taken on challenges and gained perspective and wisdom while raising my daughter and son. My husband and I provided a stable home, volunteered and worked in the community and created a supportive network for our family. I found guidance and did research on physical, emotional and behavioral topics, when necessary, to understand the causes of and solutions or treatments for issues affecting my children. I strove to learn at each stage, going to parent education meetings offered through my children’s schools and community organizations . I loved being with my children and their friends. I learned to trust my instincts by understanding my children. I knew when they were doing well and when I needed to step in to get them back on track or listen with a sympathetic ear. We had firm rules and standards for our children and avoided hovering as helicopter parents. My corporate training, experience and organization skills I developed during my banking career, working on Wall Street, prior to becoming a mother, have helped me in my role as mom.

My purpose is to provide helpful information to mothers through my website and book. I want you as, Mom, to feel encouraged, to enjoy the journey you are on with your dear children and to embrace “Being Mom”.  I send you and your family my very best wishes and love. 💗
